Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide rigid engineering thermoplastic polyurethane polymers.SOLUTION: The instant invention is a rigid thermoplastic polyurethane made by reacting a diisocyanate with a diol, wherein the diisocyanate comprises a mixture of positional and geometric isomers of bis(isocyanatomethyl) cyclohexane. In the preferred case, the diol comprises a diol selected from the group consisting of one or more positional and geometric isomers of cyclohexanedimethanol, 1,6-hexanediol and mixtures thereof. In another embodiment, the instant invention is an object made from such rigid thermoplastic polyurethane.
