Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce time, labor and cost with respect to preparation of a map.SOLUTION: A mobile robot 220 adds an ID for specifying an application place or an operator of a mobile robot to measurement information and transmits the measurement information added with the ID to a map generation device 250 via a network. The map generation device receives the measurement information and the ID transmitted via the network, specifies the application place or the operator of the mobile robot obtaining the measurement information, determines a movement parameter of the mobile robot from a map in process and the measurement information, synthesizes and prepares the map from the measurement information on the basis of the movement parameter, displays the map in process, receives a command of a correction of the map or a correction end from the operator, corrects the map on the basis of the command and transmits the prepared map to the mobile robot via the network.
