Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display element that enables simplification of wiring.SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display element applying a voltage to an electrode 930 formed on a substrate to control an alignment of a liquid crystal and displaying an indicator comprises: the electrode 930 that includes an indicator electrode 931 formed into a loop closed shape, a periphery electrode 933 arranged at a periphery of the indicator electrode 931, and an isolated electrode 932 surrounded by the indicator electrode 931; an electric insulation layer 920 that is disposed between the electrode 930 and the substrate and has through-holes H1, H2, H3, and H4 corresponding to the indicator electrode 931, the periphery electrode 933, and the isolated electrode 932 formed; and a wiring layer 910 that is disposed between the electric insulation layer 920 and the substrate and has wiring 913 electrically connecting the periphery electrode 933 with the isolated electrode 932 via the through-holes H2 and H4 formed.
