MAGENTA TONER FOR ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE IMAGE DEVELOPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magenta toner for electrostatic charge image development that suppresses dust generated during fixing, decreases aggregation of toner, secures fixability and blocking resistance, maintains a good charge property to repeated printing for a long period, and exhibits stable and good image quality.SOLUTION: A magenta toner for electrostatic charge image development contains at least colorant, a binder resin, and wax. Component having a carbon number of 40 or more accounts for 80 mass% or more of the wax; a non-normal component accounts for 10 mass% or more and 50 mass% or less of the entire components having a carbon number of 40 or more, and is hydrocarbon wax or specific neopentyl polyol ester; and the colorant is a mixture of two or more compounds represented by a specific structure.
