Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film obtained by forming both of a hard coat layer and a particulate localization phase by one application process using a thin film base film, excellent in reflection prevention and excellent also in curl and flexibility (bendability) after a durability test.SOLUTION: In the optical film having a functional layer including a resin material and particulates dispersed into the resin material and formed by a single layer on at least one surface of a base film containing a mat agent, the thickness of the functional layer is 1 μm or more and a refractive index of the particulate is lower than that of the resin material by 0.04 or more. When the thickness of the functional layer is defined as L, the functional layer has a localization phase containing 50 mass% or more of the particulates contained in the functional layer in an area less than 1/2 L of the thickness direction from the surface of the opposite side to the base film and the functional layer is formed on a surface of the base film on which the mat agent is localized.
