Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate an index for evaluating at least one value out of a radius of curvature and an axial deviation in a specific position of an optical fifer core from a loss-to-wavelength characteristic of the optical fiber core.SOLUTION: A measuring device includes: a characteristic determination part for determining a loss-to-wavelength characteristic of an optical fiber core by using information concerned with light power of each of a plurality of wavelengths obtained by measuring light power of back-scattered light from each of a plurality of positions having respectively different distances from an incident end of light made incident from the incident end of the optical fiber core in the plurality of wavelengths and values of the plurality of wavelengths; and a curvature radius determination part for determining a radius of curvature of a first position of the optical fiber core when the number of windings of the optical fiber core is a first regulated value while supposing that the number of windings of the optical fiber core is the first regulated value. |
