Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable brake assist even if a battery is fully refilled in a power-assisted bicycle in which the regenerative charging of the battery is enabled by an assist motor.SOLUTION: A power-assisted bicycle includes: a transmission cylinder 17 that is connected to a pedal crank shaft 3 via a one-way clutch 29; a drive sprocket 31 that is provided in the transmission cylinder 17; and an assist motor 15 that is connected the transmission cylinder 17. Moreover, the power-assisted bicycle includes a centrifugal governor 51 for excreting a braking force on a rear brake BR that is operated when a motor driving shaft 16 of the assist motor 15 is rotated at a predetermined or higher speed on the motor driving shaft 16.
