Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical method for treating glaucoma, and a relevant treatment device.SOLUTION: Trabecula bypass surgery forms a bypass in a diseased trabecula 21 using a seton implant 31. The seton implant is used so as to interfere a healing process known as billing-in, wherein an opening generated by a surgical operation in the trabecula is easy to close. The surgical method and new implant are addressed to the trabecula 21 which is the main site of resistance to an outflow in the glaucoma. An existing outflow pathway is also used or restored in addition to forming the bypass in the diseased trabecula at the level of the trabecula. The seton implant 31 is arranged through the trabecula so that its exit end part is arranged within a fluid collector channel around an external surface 43 of the trabecula 21 or upto the level of an aqueous vein while the entrance end part of the seton implant 31 is exposed to an anterior chamber 20 of an eyeball.
