COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, SAFETY CONFIRMATION METHOD, AND COMMUNICATION TERMINAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform safety confirmation in disaster or the like.SOLUTION: A communication system includes a plurality of communication terminals and a management server which can communicate with the plurality of communication terminals. The communication terminal acquires positional information when receiving emergency information, notifies the management server of the positional information and power amount information and transmits an answer to safety confirmation information corresponding to the emergency information as a representative terminal or a peripheral terminal in a predetermined group on the basis of communication means in receiving the safety confirmation information from the management server. The management server collects the positional information and the power amount information from the communication terminal, groups one or a plurality of communication terminals on the basis of the collected positional information, selects a representative terminal from among communication terminals in the same group on the basis of the power amount information, transmits the safety confirmation information and peripheral terminal information to the selected representative terminal and receives safety result information on the representative terminal and the peripheral terminal from the representative terminal.
