PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve imaging performance.SOLUTION: When a shutter button 28sh is depressed full, raw image data of continuous seven frames representing a scene captured by an imager 16 are acquired. A CPU 26 creates image data of six frames for preview corresponding to raw image data of preceding six frames in parallel with acquisition processing of image data and then creates image data for preview corresponding to raw image data of a seventh frame. The image data of the seventh frame are created through distortion correction and image data of the preceding six frames are created without through distortion correction, on the other hand. The created image data for preview are displayed in a substitutive manner on an LCD monitor 40 in the order of creation. Further, the CPU 26 records the raw image data of seven frames acquired from the imager 16 onto a recording medium 44 after distortion correction.
