Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a whole surface driven, flat and thin type speaker and a digital speaker device which are small in the effect of mutual inductance occurring between a plurality of coils and are capable of excellent sound reproduction.SOLUTION: The speaker comprises a voice coil assembly, a magnetic circuit having a magnetic space in which the rectangular coils of the voice coil assembly is disposed, and a plurality of speaker terminals to which are connected the opposite ends of each of the rectangular coils. The magnetic circuit includes a plurality of magnets, each capped with a rectangular flat board-like plate, and a yoke to which the magnets are fastened. A rectangular magnetic space is formed between the plate and the yoke. A set of adjacent magnets is magnetized so that they have a different magnetic polarity in the opposite direction, and a set of adjacent rectangular voice coils of the voice coil assembly are connected to the speaker terminals so that in each of them a current flows in the opposite direction.
