SINGLE SHEET TYPE LAMINATING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single sheet type laminating apparatus which applies a foil sheet on a surface of a base material, in which occurrence of creases or distortion in the foil sheet is prevented, and the foil sheet is neatly applied so as to prevent air bubbles from being created in the application interface.SOLUTION: A single sheet type laminating apparatus 10 is equipped with: a stage 12 on which a base material is placed; a roller 13 which is arranged on one end side of the longitudinal direction of the stage 12, and slidable in the longitudinal direction; and a guide plate 15 which is arranged on the other end side of the stage 12 in the longitudinal direction, slidable in the longitudinal direction, and feeds a foil sheet onto the base material while supporting the sheet in a free state. The guide plate 15 brings the top end portion of the foil sheet into contact with the surface of the base material at a predetermined application start position, and slides toward an application end position to gradually feeds the foil sheet onto the base material. Further, the roller 13 rolls forward from the application start position toward the application end position, and pressure-bonds the foil sheet fed from the guide plate 15 and applied on the surface of the base material.
