Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric actuator capable of improving fragility against an external force to enhance yield strength and a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A piezoelectric actuator 100 expands and contracts when a voltage is applied and includes a piezoelectric actuator body 110 formed by alternately stacking a plurality of piezoelectric elements 112 and contact members 117 to 119 that come in contact with the ends of the plurality of piezoelectric elements 112, in tandem. Projections 114 and recesses 116 form contact with three or more points with their axes being center of gravity. The axial direction of contact corresponds to an expanding and contracting direction. Since the plurality of piezoelectric elements 112 are provided in tandem while coming into contact with contact members 117 to 119, it is possible to improve fragility against an external force to enhance yield strength.
