Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metalization film capacitor in which excellent safety and sufficient useful life can be ensured, even if a dielectric film is made thin.SOLUTION: Insulation slits 5 are provided substantially in the center of the effective electrode width W of vapor deposition electrodes 1B, 2B, intermittently in the longitudinal direction of dielectric films 1A, 2A, and a first electrode 7 on the insulation margin 3 side is connected with a second electrode 8 on the connection 4 side by a fuse 6. Furthermore, the first electrode 7 is provided with compartment slits 9 and compartment margins 11, so that a plurality of small electrodes 12 are provided in the width direction and longitudinal direction of the dielectric film. The small electrodes 12 adjoining in the width direction of the dielectric films 1A, 2A are arranged to be displaced relatively each other in the longitudinal direction of the dielectric films 1A, 2A, and connected with the small electrodes 12 adjoining in the width direction of the dielectric films 1A, 2A via a fuse 10.
