PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conveniently determine desired communication means with a desired communication partner.SOLUTION: A communication operation support device 1 comprises a transmission type touch display, a storage part 90, a recognition part 10, and a determination part 20. The storage part 90 associates face feature data with a finger movement pattern on the display, and with communication means identification information for storage. The recognition part 10 recognizes a finger movement on the display by a user, and a face area on an image seen through an instruction area by the finger movement when mounting a housing on the image. The determination part 20 selects face feature data of a face within a face area on the recognized image from the storage part 90, and determines a person corresponding to the face feature data as a communication partner. The determination part 20 also selects communication means identification information associated with the finger movement pattern obtained from the recognized finger movement from the storage part 90 as communication means of the communication partner, and determines communication means corresponding to the communication means identification information.
