Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the high convenience of a peripheral device to a user of an information processor by achieving the effective notification/display of error information form the peripheral device to an information processor, and achieving the early resolution of the error of the peripheral device.SOLUTION: A status monitor of a PC 50a regularly acquires status information from an MFP (MultiFunction Periphery) 10, and manages information relating to the use state of the MFP 10 (for example, log-in time or past error resolution frequency) or information relating to the status of the MFP 10 (for example, current status or latest error occurrence time) about a current log-in user, and when receiving an error status from the MFP 10, performs the pop-up display of the detail information of an error when each information of the log-in user satisfies predetermined conditions (for example, predetermined time or more has passed since the log-in time or the error resolution frequency is predetermined frequency or more).
