PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify an input in the case of performing the terminal authentication of a settlement terminal.SOLUTION: A settlement terminal 1 includes: an operation display part 13 for accepting the input of an authentication number assigned to the settlement terminal 1 of an affiliated store; a terminal transmission part 15 for transmitting an input authentication number, an individual number predetermined to the settlement terminal 1 and the telephone number of the settlement terminal 1 to the terminal management server 2; and a result reception part 16 for receiving a registration result or an authentication result from the terminal management terminal 2. The terminal management terminal 2 includes a database 25 for storing the list of authentication numbers. In registration, the individual number and telephone number of the settlement terminal 1 are registered in the database 25 by using the authentication number received from the settlement terminal 1 as a key, and in authentication, the authentication number is read from the database 25 by using the individual number received from the settlement terminal 1 as a key so that the settlement terminal 1 can be authenticated.
