PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a state detection device of a traveling object for highly maintaining detecting accuracy in a long term by suppressing the retention of dust or dirt.SOLUTION: A monitoring camera device 20 includes: a casing 30; and cameras 21A and 21B housed in the casing 30 for imaging an automobile on a driveway, and the monitor camera device 20 detects the halting state of the automobile on the basis of images picked up by the cameras 21A and 21B. The casing 30 includes a bottom structure 40 formed along the traveling direction of the automobile, and the bottom structure 40 includes recesses 68A and 68B recessed at the cameras 21A and 21B side, and the recesses 68A and 68B are formed of first protrusions 61A and 61B protruding to the automobile side and opposite wall parts 62A and 62B disposed at the front position of the first protrusions 61A and 61B so as to be faced to the first protrusions 61A and 61B. Furthermore, a second protrusion 63A protruding to the automobile side is arbitrarily disposed at the front position in the traveling direction of the first protrusion 61A.
