PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic analysis apparatus capable of preventing reduction in processing capacity while securing reliability of inspection results even when there exists a processing process causing an increase in cycle time of the automatic analysis apparatus.SOLUTION: The automatic analysis apparatus includes: a reaction table 61 capable of placing a plurality of reaction vessels 1; a conveyance plate 32 capable of placing the plurality of reaction vessels 1; an agitation part capable of agitating the contents of the reaction vessels placed on the conveyance plate; a gripping conveyance part 20 capable of conveying the reaction vessels placed on the conveyance plate to a plurality of placing positions of the reaction table and capable of conveying the reaction vessels located on the plurality of placing positions to the conveyance plate; and a conveyance lane 31 capable of conveying the conveyance plate to a position for receiving the reaction vessels, a position for receiving dispensation of liquid, a position for receiving agitation, and a position for receiving conveyance by the gripping conveyance part.
