CURRENT SENSOR AND CURRENT SENSOR PACKAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current sensor and a current sensor package capable of making an accurate target current measurement less affected by an external magnetic field.SOLUTION: A current sensor of the present invention includes; a current path substrate (11) having two element formation regions (A, A) of a conductive material located thereon with a space therebetween; and magnetoresistance effect multilayer films (12a-12d) deposited on each of the two element formation regions (A, A). Target current flows through each of the two element formation regions (A, A) in opposite direction, and sensitivity axis of each of the magnetoresistance effect multilayer films (12a-12d) is perpendicular to the direction of the target current that flows through the corresponding element formation regions (A, A).
