Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll type fluid machine that prevents an upsetting moment from causing inclination of an orbiting scroll and reduces the difference in clearance between a fixed scroll and orbiting scroll in each phase.SOLUTION: A scroll type fluid machine 101 includes a fixed scroll 30, an orbiting scroll 20, and a rotary shaft 60. The rotary shaft 60 has an eccentric part 60c eccentric from the rotation center O, the eccentric part 60c has an orbiting support bearing 42 for rotatably supporting the orbiting scroll 20, and a spacer 43 fixed to the eccentric part 60c is disposed at a position facing the end face of the orbiting support bearing 42. A projecting part 43a is disposed at a position corresponding to a phase undergoing a thrust load by the upsetting moment with respect to the orbiting scroll 20 in the spacer 43. The projecting part 43a elastically comes into contact with the end face of the orbiting support bearing 42.
