Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method capable of enhancing the yield of a metal compound formed by heating and firing, after sol-gel reaction using a chelate agent.SOLUTION: A metal compound is formed by heating a mixture solution of metal salt and a chelating agent after sol-gel reaction. In the metal compound, a metal component which does not form a complex with the chelating agent is mixed into the mixture solution at 10-20 wt.% excess in weight compared with the molar ratio corresponding to the stoichiometric ratio of the metal compound.
