CAP AND CONTAINER WITH CAP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap capable of preventing the cap from coming off by reliably discharging pressure externally when internal pressure has increased excessively, and a container with the cap.SOLUTION: In a cap 1, a plurality of knurl recesses 11 arranged in a circumferential direction and openings 12 that release inner pressure at opening are formed, and a plurality of hook parts 13 projecting radially inward and locking a liner 2 and a slit part 14 along a circumferential direction are formed in the neighborhood of a top surface part 4 of a cylindrical part 5. One knurl recess 11a of the knurl recesses 11 is disposed in a position opposed to an intermediate position of the slit part 14 by 180°. In each of half cylinder areas 51 and 52 formed by partitioning the cylindrical part 5 into two whose border is a straight line L2 perpendicular to a straight line L1 connecting the one knurl recess 11a and the intermediate position of the slit part 14 and through an axis C of the cylindrical part 5, more hook parts 13 are formed in the half cylinder area 51 on one knurl recess 11a side than on a slit part 14 side.
