PACKAGING METHOD AND PACKAGING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging method and a packaging apparatus capable of suppressing an increase in man-hours, an increase in a size of the apparatus and the like by dispensing with trimming, and furthermore, preventing trouble caused by positional displacement.SOLUTION: When obtaining a packaging body 11 containing a work 13 in a sheet body 12 and formed with an extended part 15 of the work 13 extended from an end edge, first, the sheet body 12 is obtained which is formed into a line symmetric shape and has positioning holes 41A-44A, 41B-44B at a line symmetrical position. Then, a crease CL prone to be folded is formed by using the positioning holes 41A-44A, 41B-44B. Thereafter, the sheet body 12 is folded at a center line thereof with the work 13 placed on a predetermined position on the sheet body 12, and end edges excluding one side of the folding side are fusion-bonded by a fusion bonding means. When forming the folding line, folding and fusion bonding, the positioning holes 41A-44A, 41B-44B are set in a state that the holes 41A-44A and holes 41B-44B are positioned with respect to each other.
