Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of expanding a tube, by which the situation that recessed parts are generated on the inner peripheral surface of a heat transmitting tube is prevented when flaws are generated along the peripheral direction to the inner peripheral surface in the midst of a tube hole in the axial direction.SOLUTION: In a method of expanding a tube by which a heat transmitting tube 105 inserted into a tube hole 104a of a tube plate 104 is fixed by expanding the tube, when the flaws 104b are generated along the peripheral direction to the inner peripheral surface in the midst of the tube hole 104a in the direction of the axis S1, the method includes: a first hydraulic tube expanding step where in a range including flaws 104b, the tube is expanded by hydraulic pressure by pressure of 15-70%; and then a second hydraulic tube expanding step where in each divided ranges excepting the flaws 104b, the tube is each expanded by hydraulic pressure by the pressure of 100%.
