THERMOPLASTIC RESIN FOAM AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin foam which is excellent in strength, flexibility, cushioning properties, strain recovery or the like and is especially reduced in cell structure shrinkage caused by recovery force of the resin.SOLUTION: A thermoplastic resin foam is obtained by subjecting a thermoplastic resin composition comprising a thermoplastic elastomer as a main component and an actinic-energy-ray-curable resin to foam molding to form a foamed structure and then irradiating the foamed structure with actinic energy rays to form a crosslinked structure of the actinic-energy-ray-curable resin in the foamed structure, wherein the thermoplastic elastomer is a thermoplastic elastomer of at least one selected from a group consisting of an acrylic thermoplastic elastomer and an urethane elastomer, and the thermoplastic resin foam is used for electronic equipment.
