Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrugated board cushioning material capable of preventing the application of a load equal to or exceeding an allowable maximum load to a stored object even if an estimated maximum load during transport is applied, and capable of remaining a cushioning capacity in this case.SOLUTION: A square prism cushioning material 10 is stored between an outer case and a stored object. Wedge-shaped notches 45 are formed at both ends of a face of the cushioning material 10 along a direction to which the stored object applies force. Each side face of the cushioning material 10 is formed so that a minimum width of the side face has a first proportional relationship relative to acceleration at which the side face starts buckling and acceleration at which the side face starts buckling is smaller than a predetermined acceleration at which the stored object is broken. Based on the first proportional relationship, the minimum width of each side face has a first length shorter than a length corresponding to the acceleration at which the stored object is broken.
