Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid vehicle that can fill an acceleration request by output of an engine by starting the engine when driving to increase accelerator operation quantity little for a short while.SOLUTION: A control device starts driving of an engine 20, when the engine request output decided according to the accelerator operation quantity, during operation stop of the engine 20 grows more than the engine starting threshold, and stops driving of the engine 20, when the engine request output becomes smaller than the engine stop threshold during operation of the engine 20. The control device makes the torque equal to a user request torque decided according to the accelerator operation quantity to act on drive shaft 53 by controlling "the output torque of the engine 20 and the output torque of the second power generation electric motor MG2". In addition, when the engine 20 is stopped, the control device reduces the engine starting threshold smaller, longer the continuous time when the accelerator operation quantity is not zero.
