Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform heat sealing processing with about uniform pressure on the whole of a processing surface.SOLUTION: A heat sealing apparatus includes a drum and a rotating part which rotate respectively around central axes being parallel to each other, and each of the drum and the rotating part has a seal processing part extending parallel to the central axis. The seal processing part 23 of the drum is equipped with a block 25 having a processing surface 250 which holds an absorbent article between the seal processing part of the rotating part and the pressing part in heat sealing processing, a base 24 to which the block 25 is fixed, and two thin plate members 26 which are provided at opposite end parts in the longitudinal direction between the block 25 and the base 24. Since the block 25 is fixed firmly to the base 24, the height of the processing surface 250 is almost uniform in the longitudinal direction in a state in which the block 25 is bent and thermally expanded between the two thin plate members 26. According to this constitution, the heat sealing processing can be performed with about uniform pressure on the whole of the processing surface 250.
