Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently inhibiting waterborne bacteria.SOLUTION: A method for inhibiting waterborne bacteria comprises using a combination of a chlorine-based oxidant with sulfamic acid or the salt thereof, or using in combination, a medical agent comprising chlorosulfamic acid or the salt thereof and an inorganic or organic slime control agent. In the method, it is preferable to add the medical agent at the same time as that of adding the slime control agent or prior thereto. It is, for example, acceptable to have a process of adding the medical agent and slime control agent to the place at which a slime obstruction is detected.
