INVERTER AND CONVERTER CONTROL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a ripple of a DC voltage inputted into an inverter while suppressing an increase of a device size and an increase of a manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: A control device PWM-controls an inverter and a converter. The control device includes: first signal generation means for generating a first duty signal for driving inverter-side switching elements; second duty signal generation means for generating a second duty signal for driving converter-side switching elements, with a frequency of the second duty signal being three times as high as that of the first duty signal; and phase control means for controlling phases of the first duty signal and the second duty signal. At the time of a step-down operation of the converter, the phase control means performs the phase control so that a center of an ON-period of the first duty signal for driving a switching element constituting an upper arm, out of the inverter-side switching elements, and a center of an ON-period of the second dury signal for driving a high-side switching element, out of the converter-side switching elements, are aligned with each other.
