PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio apparatus which consumes less power and radiates less disturbing wave.SOLUTION: In a standby system, a selector selects a signal of an active system in which a fault occurred from signals transmitted from active systems. A system identification signal addition unit detects from a port selected by the selector which active system it was that the signal was selected and adds the identification number of the active system as a system identification signal to the main signal in-band. A system identification signal detection unit controls a distribution unit so that the main signal is distributed to only the active system corresponding to the information which was obtained from the system identification signal added in-band to the received main signal.
