Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily provide a color display element at low cost by using a scheme of a conventional monochrome electronic paper without reducing brightness.SOLUTION: A color filter is used in a color display device including a monochrome display device and the color filter arranged on a visible side of the monochrome display device. The color filter has a transparent resin layer composed of a transparent resin composition containing a resin solution in which a transparent resin is dissolved. On the transparent resin layer, a coloring region composed of coloring inks of a plurality of colors, including at least a resin being a liquid at normal temperature, a resin being a solid at normal temperature, a colorant, and a solvent, as essential components, is formed by an inkjet scheme. The transparent resin layer absorbs only the solvent and the liquid resin of the coloring inks to form the coloring region, and is made uncolored or transparent except for the coloring region.
