Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device for laser capable of reducing speckle noise caused by coherent light of a light source having laser beams with a plurality of wavelengths.SOLUTION: The optical device for laser includes: a light source part 10 exiting a plurality of laser beams 11a, 12a and 13a in a predetermined polarizing direction; and a liquid crystal device 20 that switches the plurality of laser beams with time. The liquid crystal device 20 is constituted of a plurality of ferroelectric liquid crystal elements in which retardation ( n*d) is set according to each wavelength of the plurality of laser beams, and the plurality of laser beams are red (R), green (G), and blue (B). This configuration can reduce speckle noise of the laser beam and dissolve glaring feeling of an image so as to provide an optical device for laser displaying stable and high-definition image.
