METHOD FOR CHECKING SOUNDNESS OF BUILDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for checking soundness of buildings capable of highly accurately estimating a response of each floor of a building on the basis of response information of a building in earthquakes obtained by sensors installed on limited floors.SOLUTION: A method for checking soundness of a multilayer-structured building T includes: installing sensors 1 in observation layers arbitrarily set in the building; learningly updating information of a design model of the building using Bayes' theorem on the basis of response information of the observation layers obtained by the sensors 1 in an earthquake; and estimating a response of each floor of the building T on the basis of response information of the observation layers obtained in an earthquake occurring later and the learningly updated information of the design model of the building T.
