Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a W/O type emulsion ink for inkjet, which can provide a sufficient optical density of image with excellent rapid fixability even in recording on plain paper, and is excellent in abrasion resistance of image at high density.SOLUTION: A W/O type emulsion ink for inkjet includes 55-90 mass% of an oil phase, 45-10 mass% of a water phase, the water phase containing water, a water-based solvent, a coloring agent and a resin. Preferably, the coloring agent is a pigment, and the pigment is covered with the resin.
