OPENING/CLOSING WORKING TOOL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing working tool capable of easily nipping an object without breakage by an extremely simple operation by an operator not to carefully handle an opening/closing operation portion while adjusting a closing force applied thereto by a delicate force, but to merely grip or nip the opening/closing operation portion by fingertips.SOLUTION: An opening/closing working tool that has a first half body 1 and a second half body 2 pivoted crossing each other, and provided with opening/closing working portions 4 at tips and opening/closing operation portions 5 at base ends is configured to make contact portions 7 abut against a receiving portion 6 as the opening/closing operation portions 5 deflect and move by increasing and applying closing forces to the opening/closing operation portions 5. When the closing force is further increased while the contact portions 7 abut against the receiving portion 6, the closing force is not transmitted to the opening/closing portions 4 although the opening/closing operation portions 5 further deflect and move, and thereby, nipping forces of the opening/closing working portions 4 are not made equal to or do not exceed a nipping force corresponding to the closing force applied when the contact portions 7 abut against the receiving portion 6.
