GAS-LIQUID SEPARATION FILTER AND AIR CLEANER FOR COMPRESSED AIR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas-liquid separation filter and an air cleaner for compressed air capable of separating mist of liquid from gas with low pressure loss and high efficiency, and capable of elongating the service life of the filter.SOLUTION: A gas-liquid separation filter 10 includes a cylindrical screen 30 having a cylindrical thin wall and a plurality of vent holes on the whole of the thin wall, a filtering part 31 cylindrically formed to surround an outer peripheral side of the cylindrical screen 30 and filtering contaminated gas, and a pair of end plates 41 and 42 sealing and fixing both ends in the cylindrical filter constituents by an adhesive. A second filtering part 31 is obtained by winding many times a thin nonwoven fabric-like filter cloth-like material 32 prepared by a fiber material made of a raw material swelling with oil so as to form a multiple layer in such a manner of substantially extending without pulling, and wrinkles are generated when the filtering part swells with oil.
