Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MCFC power generation system capable of acquiring high power generation efficiency and heat recovery efficiency by minimizing additional equipment without greatly reducing or substantially discharging COto ambient air and performing electrothermal variable operation by adjusting gas composition of a cathode, and the operation method thereof.SOLUTION: The MCFC power generation system has a cathode gas circulation system, cathode gas is circulated by a gas recycling blower 36, a closed loop is formed, oxygen consumed by power generation reaction is replenished from an oxygen supply plant 33, and COis replenished by recycled CO. Combustible components in anode exhaust are burned with oxygen and cooled to eliminate water. Further, fuel gas in the anode exhaust is recycled for use.
