PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch hard to produce a trouble caused by exothermic heat if a load exceeding a rating is connected thereto.SOLUTION: The switch includes: contact points (composed of a fixed contact point 12c and a movable contact point 13a) electrically connected to a power supply path between the load and a power source; an open/close mechanism unit 24 for switching the contact points on/off; a light-emitting diode LED1 for operation display which emits when power is supplied to the load; a current transformer CT1, having a primary winding connected in series with the contact points, for making the light-emitting diode LED1 emit light by making a current flow through the light-emitting diode LED1 connected to a secondary winding, when a current flows in the power supply path; and a thermal fuse F1 electrically connected between the current transformer CT1 and the load.
