Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact type IC card capable of protecting an IC chip and bonding wire under an external force such as flexural stress, preserving a function of the IC card, and improving reliability.SOLUTION: A high reliability IC card is an IC card of a contact type or with a contact/noncontact IC module installed. An external connection terminal board of the IC module has a stress relaxation hole. The stress relaxation hole is formed on an annulus ring centering a center part of the external connection terminal. An opening area of the stress relaxation hole is 1/2 or smaller with regard to a surface area of the external connection terminal board.
