SLIDE TYPE LIQUID LEVEL DETECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide type liquid level detector with an electrode and a slide contact which are hard to be sulfurized, etc. in liquid fuel, and has moderate hardness.SOLUTION: A slide type liquid level detector includes: a float 12 which is arranged in a fuel tank, and fluctuates by following a liquid level of liquid fuel; a slide contact 21 which slides by being interlocked with a motion of the float 12; and a plurality of lines of electrodes 31 which the slide contact 21 contacts. The electrodes 31 consist of composition that the content of sliver is 20-60 wt.%, the content of palladium is 80-40 wt.%, and 3-20 weight parts of glass components are contained to 100 weight parts of silver-palladium alloy. The slide contact 21 consists of composition that the content of palladium is 70-90 wt.%, and the content of nickel is 30-10 wt.%.
