PHOTOVOLTAIC POWER GENERATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a photovoltaic power generation system capable of leveling use of system AC power.SOLUTION: A photovoltaic power generation system comprises: a solar cell; a DC/DC converter for converting DC power generated by the solar cell to DC power of a predetermined level; a DC/AC inverter for converting the converted DC power to AC power; an AC/DC converter for converting system AC power to DC power; a secondary battery; a charge/discharge control unit for controlling charging/discharging of the secondary battery; and a charge amount calculation unit for calculating a target charge amount to the secondary battery. The charge amount calculation unit calculates the target charge amount on the basis of a prediction value of a daily power use amount. On the basis of the calculated target charge amount, the charge/discharge control unit controls so that the secondary battery is charged from the system AC power through the AC/DC converter in the middle of the night, and the secondary battery is charged from the solar cell through the DC/DC converter in the daytime.
