CAMERA SYSTEM ADAPTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera system adaptor capable of promptly and easily collecting video information from a camera system at the time of disastrous event or other abnormal state, and allowing an existing camera system to serve for an emergency response application without practical alteration.SOLUTION: An adaptor is installed between a camera and a camera image input device. As this adaptor is equipped with distribution means, the signal output from the camera can be distributed and stored in the adaptor. Furthermore, independent from the camera system, the adaptor includes communication means such as a mobile phone module or wireless LAN module. When a disastrous event or other abnormal state occurs, the camera image is captured by the distribution means, and the image or the information extracted from the image is transmitted to a prescribed server via such communication means.
