PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key input device reducing induction of input errors.SOLUTION: A control section 10 facilitates input by a tap operation by enlarging key display size in a soft keyboard included in a soft key area SKE applied to a slide operation, when the control section 10 detects the slide operation of a user by a touch panel 17 in the soft key area SKE comprising a key which the user wants to enter in the soft keyboard or a peripheral key. When the key which the user wants to enter is applied to the tap operation in the soft key area SKE enlarged in the display size, the input key applied to the tap operation is entered.
