PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a determination method capable of appropriately evaluating reliability of a selective binding amount of an inspection object by taking account of a non-biological influence in data obtained by a microarray experiment or the like, and to provide a determination device, a determination system, and a program.SOLUTION: The determination method according to the present invention: determines a spot position in image data for which imaging of detection intensity in a carrier has been carried out; extracts a pixel group corresponding to that spot; calculates a ratio or difference between a median value for detection intensity in that extracted pixel group and a median value for detected intensity in a group in which an upper prescribed proportion and/or a lower prescribed proportion of pixels have been eliminated from that pixel group; and determines whether reliability is good or bad on the basis of the calculated ratio or difference and a prescribed standard value.
