Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an examination method of bacteria using outer membrane vesicles of bacteria such as saliva useful for accurate and simple diagnoses of a periodontal disease and the like.SOLUTION: An examination method comprises the steps of previously arranging outer membrane vesicles of bacteria on a measuring part of a measurement instrument, bringing a specimen sampled from a subject into contact with the measuring part, and detecting an anti-outer membrane vesicle antibody corresponding to the outer membrane vesicles in the specimen by means of an antigen-antibody reaction. A measurement instrument for performing the examination method of the bacteria has a measuring part on which outer membrane vesicles of bacteria to be detected is previously placed.
