Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latch device of a door which allows easy opening operation even when a person is accidentally locked in a storage.SOLUTION: A latch device 1 includes a first engaging member 2 fixed to an opening peripheral part of a storage body 51, and a second engaging member 3 fixed to a door 52 so as to be engageable with and disengageable from the first engaging member 2. The engaging members 2, 3 include bodies 21, 31, support bodies 22, 32, fastening members 23, 33, and bar members 24, 34. The support bodies 22, 32 can pass through through-openings 51a, 52a formed in the storage body 51 or the door 52. The bar members 24, 34 bridge the through-openings 51a, 52a to prevent the support bodies 22, 32 from slipping off from the through-openings 51a, 52a. The bar members 24, 34 are elastically frictionally engaged with the storage side of the storage body 51,the door 52 and the support bodies 22, 32 to be detachably interposed between them.
