Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight and inexpensive radiation-shielding coating material harmless to the human body, and to provide coated matter using the same.SOLUTION: A radiation-shielding coating material is obtained by compounding precipitated barium sulfate with a binder resin so as to be 30-80% in the weight ratio of the precipitated barium sulfate. The coated matter includes: protective suit, clothing, building structures (as to their roofs and walls), windows, weather doors, shutters, motor vehicles, curtains and machinery equipment, each coated with the coating material.
