Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of more improving anti-chipping property in a joined bidy for a tool having alumina as a principal component.SOLUTION: A joined body for a tool includes an outer member including a rake face, a first face adjacent to the rake face and a second face adjacent to both rake face and first face, and an inner member at least partially covered with the outer member. A coefficient of thermal expansion of the outer member is smaller than a coefficient of thermal expansion of the inner member. In the outer member, a cutting edge part is formed at a ridge part where the rake face, first face and second face cross, and in the inner member, an inside corner part is formed at a position corresponding to the cutting edge part. When a length between a middle point of the cutting edge part and a crossing point of a perpendicular drawn from the middle point toward the inner member with the inner member is represented as L1 [mm], and a length of a perpendicular having a minimum length out of a plurality of perpendiculars connecting a side where the rake face contacts the first face, and a side on the inner member at a position corresponding to the side is represented as L2 [mm] when viewed from the rake face direction, a condition of L1>L2 is satisfied. |
